The Assignment
I joined the SeniorLiving.org family as a member of their editorial team. In total, I served as the copywriter and copyeditor for 108 articles (with a byline and as a ghostwriter). Seniorliving.org sought an experienced writer/editor for complex topics, including retirement, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans’ benefits, and devices (such as hearing aids and wearables). Their mission is to empower older adults and help them age with ease, and the website’s content has been featured in noteworthy publications, including Business Insider, The New York Times, and CBS News.

My objective was to break down complex topics into straightforward content, equipping older adults and their caregivers with accurate information and guidance. I conducted in-depth research on health and aging issues, translating medical jargon into plain language to develop articles, product comparisons, and resource guides. My content helped readers make informed decisions, navigate care options, and feel more confident in managing daily challenges.
