The Assignment
Over the span of 2.5 years, I wore many hats as Flutter FETTI’s freelance content specialist and account manager. My role was a blend of copywriting including 115 blog posts, 22 landing pages, and 52 email campaigns written and launched, social media management, and ecommerce SEO. Flutter FETTI is a special event industry leader, and their products have been featured in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, Sir Paul McCartney’s concerts, Las Vegas nightclubs, and the NCAA March Madness championship. Cyber Monday: Sellout Success
Flutter FETTI’s Cyber Monday Sale had an aggressive goal: to clear the warehouse of one of their most popular confetti products. I spearheaded this campaign, employing a multi-pronged approach to generate buzz around the promotion. This included creating an email marketing campaign that reached over 23 thousand subscribers, releasing Facebook and Twitter posts to build a sense of shopping urgency, and updating Flutter FETTI’s website with customized Cyber Monday sliders and CTAs. The sale was a huge success, with all 10 thousand confetti sticks selling out in less than 24 hours.

Wedding Whitepaper: An Evergreen Guide
Weddings presented a prime opportunity for Flutter FETTI to expand its customer base. To capitalize on this, I created a 16-page evergreen wedding whitepaper, packed with planning checklists, budgeting tools, industry expert advice, and wedding day inspiration. Designed as a free, downloadable PDF, the Ultimate Wedding Guide was a key part of marketing campaigns to target bridal parties as well as wedding and event industry planners.
I built multiple opt-in avenues to drive engagement, including a website slider, a wedding-themed email campaign, and paid social media ads. To amplify reach, I created a branded hashtag and “call for wedding tips,” inviting special event coordinators to share their advice (and potentially be featured in the guide). The wedding guide generated significant buzz, attracting customers who wanted to elevate their bridal showers, ceremonies, and receptions with confetti products.
